Who developed Sildenafil Citrate? and Why?
Originally developed by Pfizer® as a heart medication. Sildenafil Citrate was found to improve blood flow by relaxing arteries. During these studies, they noticed a large increasing blood flow to the male genitals.

When a man is sexually aroused, the arteries in the penis relax and widen, allowing more blood to flow into the penis.
